General

Where are Yama Sushi Marketplace stores located?

Yama has three Los Angeles locations: San Gabriel (911 W Las Tunas Dr), West LA / Mar Vista (11709 National Blvd), and Koreatown (3178 W Olympic Blvd). A fourth location in Sherman Oaks is planned.

What are Yama store hours?

San Gabriel is open every day 11am–7pm. West LA and Koreatown are open every day 11am–8pm. Yama is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

How far in advance should I order a holiday sushi platter?

Order as early as possible. Holiday platters are first-come, first-served, and Yama stops taking orders once capacity is reached.

How do I sign up for a Master Chef Class?

Class listings go live on the 1st of each month at 11am PST. See the Classes page for current offerings and signup links.

Product

Is Yama gluten-free?

Some items contain gluten, including imitation crab in California rolls and related bentos, egg in several bowls and rolls, and soy sauce. Tamari and other gluten-free products are available in stores. Ask staff about specific items.

Is your fish wild-caught or farm-raised?

It depends on the fish. Scottish salmon is farm-raised; tuna may be wild-caught or farm-raised depending on the variety.

What is the shelf life of a sushi tray or platter?

Eat sushi the day it is prepared. Keep it refrigerated and remove it about 15 minutes before serving.

Catering

Do you offer catering?

Yes — pick-up catering in the greater Los Angeles area. Email catering@ejlentertainment.com with event details, or use the catering page for platter and bento orders.

Can I customize a sushi platter?

Not at this time. Platters follow set menus for quality and consistency.

Can you accommodate dietary needs and allergies?

We do our best with advance notice. Our kitchen handles fish, avocado, shellfish, eggs, chicken, wheat, and soy.
